Summer Menu 2024

 

We’re excited to welcome the warm weather in the Catskills with our new summer menu launch today, May 15th 2024. 

The team has been hard at work for the better part of four months to bring this delicious update to our cafes today and NYC Greenmarket locations soon. You’ll find a beautiful variety of colorful and delicious pastries, an updated bread menu paying tribute to our wood-fired origins and designed to complement our cafe menu, and a seasonally-inspired, plant-forward set of menu items.

Here are a few staff favorites from across the new menu:

Focaccia

Long fermentation leads to a pillowy, luscious crumb and a richness of flavor that sets this herbaceous, fragrant bread apart (the perfect complement to our chicken salad, and the topped version makes a great standalone snack).

Tempeh Reuben

The dream sandwich that inspired our pursuit of a great wood-fired NY rye, this plant-forward reuben features marinated local tempeh, swiss, sauerkraut, pastrami-spiced onion jam, and thousand island dressing.

Seeded Farm

This wood-fired loaf is packed with hearty seeds balanced by a luscious crumb, makes for the perfect crunchy toast (the foundation for our avocado, ricotta and nut butter toasts).

Ricotta Toast

Featuring our new wood-fired seeded farm bread, this toast is topped with whipped ricotta, spring peas, fresh herbs, lemon vinaigrette, chili & flake salt. Our ricotta toast is the perfect combination of creamy topping, crunchy bread and herbaceous, tangy toppings.

Lemon Yogurt Mousse Cake

A beautiful bright and light spin on a lemon tart–with layers of lemon curd, cake and cremeux topped with edible flower petals.

Spring Onion & Caramelized Fennel Danish

This flaky, buttery pastry combines caramelized fennel and delicate spring onion, creating a blend of sweet and savory notes. The addition of gruyere adds a salty richness to the light and savory pastry.
