Coming Soon: Solar Ground Array

At our Solar Launch Party on Saturday April 29th, we raised $1,418 for our friends over at the Kingston Land Trust. We also announced 3 initiatives to further our sustainability work at the bakery. Read about our other two initiatives here and here.

Our 196k array on the roof was a great first step into our commitment for 100% renewable energy. But we’ve got a big parking lot here at the bakery, and we are pleased to announce our intention to cover it with solar canopies -- ground mount structures that we’ll cover with more solar modules. Initial design points to an additional 150kw of solar capacity for the bakery. We will keep everyone posted on this exciting project as we push forward.
